Donation Guidelines

 

Please take note of the donation guidelines below.  A little bit of presorting on your part will help our volunteers and staff save tons of time and space, and keep our store clean. Thank you!

Please wait 14 days after your home is free of sickness before donating.

 

Please donate items in boxes, bags, or totes when possible.  

 

Please donate during store hours. Items donated after hours are subject to weather, critters, or large messes when rummaged through by others. Often we have no choice but throw these items away, which increases our trash expense and reduces the funds we give to charities. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Please do not donate unsellable items, including box TVs, bowling balls, and items that are broken, chipped, or not functioning properly.

All clothing should be washed, free of hangers, rips, stains, broken zippers, missing buttons, smoke and pet odors.

Please take donations to the donation door by the truck bay, not through our main shopping door.  Simply ring the doorbell and someone will help unload your donations and give you a tax-deductible donation receipt. Thank you!
